How China Spied on the African Union for Five Years

China, Africa’s supposed all-weather friend, built the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa and handed them over in 2012. Little did anyone know or even suspect that the edifice was bugged and nothing done within it would be private. Every night, from around midnight and 2 am, data usage peaked mysteriously though very few people were within the building.
